Target  The Freerace Machine :

Click here for the sail attributes graph

The crossover concept of the Target allows for fast planning, ambitious flat water moves or an occasional wave trip.
The main characteristics of the sail are superb early planning, outstanding speed and it is extremely easy to use.

The Target gibes very smoothly and with the slim mast sleeve, water starts are easy, a key point which will especially be appreciated by beginners and advanced.
The ample use of x-ply in the main panel and all other Gun Sails sail features make the Target a very forgiving sail, which will come up to the expectations of beginners as well as maneuver freaks.

Complete Fine Tuning Index from Renato Morlotti

Drops Boards
the ideal partner
for any sail

Key facts:
- Equal compatibility for standard or RDM mast
- 50 % x-ply construction
- 5/1 batten concept (5 battens, including one tube) for improved
handling with more controllability for freeride use

Rider’s corner:
“ For sure I prefer the Hammer in my home spot Pozo. But when I visit spots with less wind and smaller waves, the Target is my first choice, with its powerful planning and perfect rotation. “

Marcos Perez, Gran Canaria

Mast Recommendations:
The higher the carbon content, the more alive and controllable your rig will feel. You can improve the performance of any sail by rigging it on a higher carbon content mast. You can also get a softer feel to your rig by using a shorter mast with a longer extension.
